Works mainly in fields of: transport planning, mobility, spatial planning and urbanism, as a consultant, planner and designer. He is Director, with Graça Nieto, of gng.apb-arquitectura e planeamento lda, agency that both founded in 1987.

João Hospital Master Plan in Oporto; Master-Plan of European Advanced Industrial Park for Tianjin in China; Amoreira Valley Master-Plan in Faro; Rehabilitation of Douro Riverfront in Oporto; Antas Master-Plan and Bragança Bus Station Transports; circulation concept and road network Master-Plan in Trofa; accessibility projects

Collaborated with The North Regional Coordination and Development Commission in different works: Ave Valley Development Integrated Action for infrastructure of transports (1988), Diagnostic "North 2015" (2005), North Regional Plan (2007-09), "NORTH 2020 - Convergence and Competitiveness Initiative" (2010). Expert of the Mobility Agenda for the North Regional (2008-11).
Participated in working groups of experts consulted by IMTT (Institute for Mobility and Land Transport) to prepare the National Guide of Mobility Plans and joined the expert team of the Guide in the transport theme in PMOT (2010). It is co-author of the publication of DGOTDU Cities Policy Series, No. 6 - 'Accessibility, Mobility and Logistics Urban' (2011).
